The good thing about improvement exams is there is no decline in marks. Those who are feeling low about their marks or want to reach a threshold marks can give improvement exams and if you score less than it will not be counted and your previous marks will remain as it is. If successful then it can be added in the marks list and the total marks will enhance. You don't have to worry if marks get low or not. Just focus on improving the performance and write the exam with more preparation.
All the best.
For your kind information the improvement Examination conducted by CBSE in order to make students improve their low score but if the student scores very bad marks in improvement exam than the regular Examination then the marks remains unchanged. I would suggest you to prepare well for the improvement exams and score good instead of thinking about scoring bad.
If you get lower marks in a subject in improvement than you previous marks will be added.
Because its the examination for improvement, and if there is “no improvement”, then obviously the previous marks are the final.
