if i appear for the jee mains exam in 2026 and qualify, i will be eligible to give the jee advanced . however, if I do not clear the jee advanced in 2026, will i need to reappear for jee mains in 2027 to attempt jee advanced again ?

You are only allowed to attempt
JEE Advanced
twice

two consecutive years
after completing your 12th. If you appear for JEE Mains in

and qualify but don’t clear JEE Advanced, you will need to reappear for
JEE Mains in 2027
to qualify for JEE Advanced. However,
2027
will be your
last attempt
for JEE Advanced since the eligibility is limited to two consecutive years after 12th.
