If I apply to get EWS certificate now & tick under EWS(by mentionong application no. of getting EWS) in JEE mains form & if fail to to get EWS certificate at the time of JOSSA Or JEE advance, then can I automatically shift to General category?

Hi aspirant,

See it is all ok if you are not able to produce the EWS certificate by the required dates for jee main or advanced. Actually at the time of counselling you are required to fill the registration form again with proper details and documents so even if you tick as EWS while filling the form now you can later changed it to general at the time of registration for counselling. However if you to apply in the counselling and are not able to produce the certificate at the time of document verification your candidature will be cancelled.
