NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Every correct answer in NEET gives you 4 marks. And a wrong answer takes away 1 mark. If you attempted 175 questions and 31 have been wrong, 175-31=144. You got 144 questions correct. So giving 4 marks to 144 questions will bring your score to 576. And now every wrong answer takes away 1 mark and so that is 31 marks subtracted from 576 which is 545. So your NEET score would be 545.
In NEET examination, 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
Now , if 175 questions and 31 questions are wrong.
Then ,
No. Of correct answers
= 175-31
= 144
Then marks awarded =
=No. Of correct answers* 4
=144 * 4
= 576
Marks deducted
= No. Of wrong answer *1
= 31* 1
= 31
Now marks obtained
= marks awarded - Marks deducted
= 576-31
= 545
Thus , you get 545 marks
Thankyou
