If i attempt GATE in 2020 and want to get admission in to the IIT in 2021, (consider as i've qualified it) is it possible for me??

Hello Alafiya.

I assume you are talking about higher studies like M.Tech.

Yes you are qualified for taking admission in IIT for higher studies like M.Tech after giving Gate and qualifying it. All you need to do is appear for the exam and wait for the results. If you clear the exam then you are able to take admission in IIT. I hope you get what you want to achieve.

Hello.

Gate is one of the prestigious exams that everybody wants to crack because it's an entrance to the PSU'S (Public Sector Units) and of course, the NITs and IITs. Gate scores are valid for a period of three years. So, if u give exam in 2020 it will be eligible up to 2022 except for the fact that if u have a good rank why would you wait for such a long time.

If you are interested in doing higher studies you can join IITs or NITs for M.Tech or Research purpose otherwise u can choose PSU'S which offer a handsome salary and perks in addition to job security.
