If I auto upgrade my choice so will I get another college or another branch in that same college

Hello,
The counselling will do it as per the rules and provided free seats are there. You can't change anything in middle of the process. The counselling board will give high chances to your 1st priority option in the forthcoming rounds if you don't get an seat allotment. You can't do anything. Once you have filled the form your work is over.
