if I buy a domain by 1 year subscription today, than from when it's 1 year subscription will apply, is it from date when I apply it to any website or from date of purchasing..??? and please explain the points, which I should keep in mind before purchasing any domain.

If you buy any domain for 1 year subscription than your time period will start from that day on which you have purchased it means date of purchasing.
While purchasing your domain you should keep following things in your mind :-
- Your domain name should be available at every platform.
- It should be catchy and attractive one.
- It should be short and easy to remember.
