Hello,
BA in Psychology in BA in English are two different courses, both can be rewarding career if you will pursue the bachelors course from any well renowned college like Delhi University. You can make a good career after bachelors. If you can get placement then its well and good but if you don't then you can go for Masters and then you can enter the teaching field , you can also further go on to do PhD or you can appear for UGC NET through which you can become Assistant Professor, Lecturer etc. Its all about interest, if your interest lies in psychology where there is more of a research oriented studies of human health and behaviour affected by their mind, understanding human brain development, consciousness, behaviour and personality and related topics then you can go for it. Or if you want to study about Indian Classical Literature, Popular Literature, American Literature and various other electives such as Text and Performance, Language Literature & Culture, Media and Communication Skills then go for BA in English.
I hope this helps.
