If i choose to apply for EWS but at the time of admission if i wouldn't be able to submit the certificate, then in which category seat will be allocated and will i be eligible for EBC scholarship
Dear Pankaj,
Let me answer your first question firstly.
See, in case an applicant fail to produce EWS certificate, he/she will be considered as General category student. So whatever seat you will get it will according to open category cutoff.
Now coming to your second question, EBC scholarship not necessarily need EWS, if you produce other required documents then it will be eligible for it. You might have to show you family income certificate.
Below is the requirements for EBC scholarship.
- Candidate should be enrolled in any recognised institute or college.
- Student should be pursuing a professional or technical course of UG/PG/Diploma.
- If student is studying in private or deemed universities, then he is not eligible for this scholarship.
- The total income of applicant should be less than 8 lakhs.
If you fulfill these educational qualification then you are eligible for EBC scholarship.
I hope this answer helps you.
All the very best!!
Dear Pankaj,
Whether you come from EWS or any other caste but you don't have certificate of that then you won't get any benefit from that reservation criteria, you will consider as a general student for any competitive exam, college admission or anything else. For you need to create that certificate and attach with your application otherwise they will consider you as a general candidate.
Best of Luck!!!
