The Board that you completed your 10th and 12th have no bearing for determining your eligibility for State Counselling. Rather where you studied takes more weightage. While deciding the domicile which is important for appearing in State Counselling, the board in which you studied is not considered. Where you completed your education is considered, You need to hold Domicile of Gujarat to participate in their State Counselling. If you have completed your 12th from any Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalas outside Gujarat, even then you are eligible for Gujarat State Quota. So if you hold the domicile of Gujarat and have completed your 10th and 12th from CBSE board, you are eligible for State Quota.
