Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria laid out for UGC NET, candidates who are pursuing their master's degree or are in the final year of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for UGC NET, however they need to secure 55% aggregate in their masters degree from a recognized university, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, in such cases candidates are required to complete their graduation within two years from the date of declaring of UGC NET results, failing to do so will lead to disqualification for JRF/Assistant Professor, the scores of JRF remains valid for three years from the date of receiving of JRF letter,

check out the official notification of UGC NET for december 2020 cycle at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/File/GetFile?FileId=56&LangId=P, 5.1(ii), and 5.2(iii) to know more details regarding this,
