If I complete btech in 2022 what should be my Stategy to qualify gate of civil branch
Remember there are no shortcuts and GATE is Problem oriented unlike ESE which is Concept Oriented. And more than 25% questions is direct formula based and all you need to do is to RECALL. So it is really easy to qualify.
Dont start with text book (Time consuming). Instead go for some coaching institutes (If you can) else get the materials (They prepare their materials in an organized and easy way which is enough to solve more than 75% of GATE paper) but i would recommend you for Classroom Coaching.
Maintain 2–3 note books for each subject (For eg: 1st notes for Geotechnical includes ALL topics, 2nd notes should be made while your FIRST REVISION with omission of some topics and similarly 3rd notes is your SECOND REVISION). And Maintain FORMULA BOOK as GATE is problem oriented. 1 Notes should be dedicated for solving problems(Test series +Previous year Questions) in such a way that it can be Readable.
Solve as many problems as you can(Previous Year Questions) and register for some institute Test Series ( Helps you in Time Management and some new questions can be seen).
In the month of January ( Assuming exam is in February) Revise your 3rd notes of every subject and solve test series and a week before your exam stop solving and preparing new concepts instead revise your Formulae Book..
Dedicate 3–4 hrs daily from now and see yourself in AIR 100…
