Hello ,
If you don't get selected for IIT , you have other college options like NITs and GFTIs based on your rank in JEE Mains . If you even don't get them you have option in state government engineering colleges or private colleges but they are costly .
Now , if you want to change your stream or not willing to do BTech further then you have many other options like :-
Don't think so IIT is only scope , there are many scope in this world if you do BCA and MCA , you may get as good salary as a BTech CS graduate get if you work properly . If you do BBA and MBA you may get better salary than an engineer . Even after doing general graduation like BSc , BCom or BA , you can apply for very prestigious government jobs like UPSC , SSC etc . There is no limit of scope .
