if I do computer science diploma course after 10th is it equivalent to 12th standard in government sector?

Hello Aditya!! Diploma course is an 3years course.It is not equivalent to 12th standard in government sector but it is equivalent in private sector . Because it is considered as greater valued and of skill oriented. if you want a government job then go for 12th standard. Hope I might have helped you. All the best!!

Dear Aspirant,

In most of the general cases the diploma is considered equal to the 12th in terms of eligibility criteria. Like the eligibility defined will be like marks in 12th or equivalent/diploma. However, there might be some sectors which wants you to have a 12th for sure. In engineering sectors, mainly the diploma will do, but make sure to have atleast 60% marks in your diploma.
