Hello,

Yes, IGNOU is a recognized university and one of the largest universities in terms of offering distance education, so its programs too are applicable for government and private jobs, even higher studies. You need to pass Master's Degree in relevant discipline with 55% aggregate if you belong to general category and in case you belong to reserved category there's relaxation of 5%, you can apply even in the final years and apart from this the age limit for JRF is 30 years, in case of Assistant Professor there's no age limit.
