If I dont accept the allotted college in CAP Round 1 MHTCET, can I opt for a college that is lower in my preference list in CAP round 2?

Hello Bryan,

Yes, you can always opt for other colleges in the next cap round.

all you need to know is that there is no hard and fast rule that you have to accept the seat alloted in a college in cap round 1.

if you got a seat in cap round 1 and you dont want that seat than you can either reject that seat or freeze that seat so that that seat will be left for you until you reject and you can move for further colleges in next cap round for getting a better college of your choice. You can even go for further cap rounds if you dont want a seat alotted in previous rounds.

Just to clarify, it could also be a college that I had entered as lower preference in this round?

Yes, after every round lower preferred colleges are considered.

Can u plz tell me will I be able to change my preference list......or can I choose a college of lower priority????
