hi tulika, you can appear for NEET exam only after you pass 12th grade,
To fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria 2018, candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English. The candidates belonging to General Category should score a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 or HSC examination.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a minimum of 40% in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required
Tulika, if in case you fail in one of the subjects of Class 12th, you may still sit for NEET entrance exam. However, you will have to ensure that you clear the exam in which you have failed before the first counselling round.
The rules of qualifying examination states that a candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12, and whose result is awaited, may apply and take up NEET but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of counselling.
I hope it helps. Thank You.
No, that would be a problem, according to the criteria you should have passed all the subjects with the following scores.
