If I fail to give AIBE exam within 2 years of registration in state bar council will state bar council registration will expire or of no use
Hi Ashish,
You only need to register once with the state bar council in order to appear for the AIBE exam. The Bar Council of India has clarified that the validity of two years is applicable only for the practise of law.
So, if you have to practise law, you must clear the AIBE exam within two years of registration and obtain the Certificate of Practice . However, you can appear for AIBE any number of times, even beyond two years after registering once. If you clear the AIBE examination after expiry of two years of registration with the state bar council, then you have to register again with the bar council to be able to practise law.
Hi,
There will be no restriction on numbers of attempts. All candidates those completed their bachelor's degree in LL. B after 1st July 2013 onwards will be eligible to apply irrespective of their enrollment for more than two years as an advocate on a State Bar Council.
If you are registered with the state bar council, you can practice law before clearing AIBE. However, in such a case, you will have to clear AIBE within two years from the date of registration at the state bar council.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
Hiii
Indeed, in case you are enrolled with the state bar board, you can provide legal counsel prior to clearing AIBE. Nonetheless, in such a case, you should get AIBE inside a long time from the date free from enrollment at the state bar council.
