Dear candidate;
To get into an NIT (any branch) try to get atleast 140+ in JEE Mains. But if you want to get CS/IT or any other core engineering branch then the cutoff are as follows :-
CS/IT : 195+
MECH : 190+
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS : 185+
CIVIL : 168+
Any other non core branch (Chemical/Metallurgy/Production etc.) : 145+
Non engineering branches (Physics/Chemistry/Maths etc.) : 140+
Kindly note: The cutoff mentioned above are just to get an NIT, but to get a Top NIT, try to get atleast 235+
Best of Luck.
congratulations on your score but it seems that it is not enough to secure a cse seat in any of the NIT. unless obviously you are very lucky enough. for further details regarding the college you might get, use the college predictor feature of this site. thank you.
For landing up in CSE branch in Top NIT's, you need to score around 200 or above. But yes there are chances that you can get CSE in some lower ranked NIT's.
-cheers :)
Try to score higher best of luck!!!
To get into good nits, at least bring 220-230 marks in jee mains.
