If you get a seat in first round and don't want it then you can go for free exit.

Free exit means if you got a college then you just don't report to the college and you can exit from the next round of counseling.

If you get a college allotted in second round you must take admission in allotted college or you will have to loose your security deposit.

No you do not have to pay participation fees for second round and your seat will not be lost if you get seat in the second counselling. Free entry/exit option available for the first round but in second round once you join the college you are not allowed to leave. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET UG 2021 counselling in the online mode for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses. The dates for the counselling are not yet declared. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. MCC will conduct 4 rounds of AIQ NEET counselling - first, second, mop-up and stray vacancy round.

If you are alloted a seat in the 1st round of counselling and you decide against joining and reporting at the alloted college for admission then you will be automatcally qualify for 2nd round without paying any extra amount of fees as round 1 is a free exit round.

incase you get a seat in a different college or donot get a seat in 2nd round your 1st round seat will stand cancelled irrespective of the scenario.
