Hello,
There are less chances of getting your payment back.Most of the collges won't return deposited money.
As your payment was in large amount,there are chances of returning it back.
Explain your situation to college,why you want to drop course.Hope they will understand and return it back.
Some collges takes the amount for which you attended college and return back remaining amount.
