Admission in private college and fee other than admission fees it is tough to say because it depends on college to college some take all the charges during the start only but some take some amount in between the sems,years because private college depends on student's fees and donations which they get from different places and students who take admission through management quota. So, it depends on colleges.

As per my knowledge,for a normal student there are two ways of getting into a college.The first one is through counselling and the second one through management quota.If you take admission to the college by counselling then the college will charge you money according to their standard fee structure set up by the boards.Generally the first two semester have a bit higher fees in most of the colleges.Now on a standard note,obviously the fee structure of government colleges are much lower than the private ones .So the expenditure of studying in a private college is bit expensive.

However if you have not been able to score a decent rank to get into a college you still have a chance through management quota.Its too expensive and the college charges you for about 7-10 lakhs or more depending upon college for donation excluding the rest course fee structure.

So this is the case...Study hard and follow your dreams.

It really depends on the college and the cutoff. If you clear their cutoff then you get a direct admission and you do not need to pay any additional fees. But if you are not eligible then you would have to get admission through management quota due to which they might take donations and if you want a certain department then the donation might be higher.
