Due to the cut throat competition, just getting a passing score does not guarantee you the medical seat in your college of choice ( even private). The marks is no longer a factor for admissions in institutions.

Your rank is what will finally decide your place.

Hello, as per  your  query  i would like  to tell  you, yes if you  get  a score  of or above the cutoff  marks you would  be  eligible  to get a  seat in a private medical  college  for MBBS  course.

Hii Gourbindu, If u pass the cutofff mark in NEET UG u will surely enter the rank list.But that doesnot guarantee that u will surely get an mbbs seat.According to the ranks,u will be alloted to either mbbs, or bds.Hope this helps u...

Yes if you get a score of or above the cutoff you would be eligibility to get a seat in any private college.

However if you want to get a free seat in a private college or government college, you need to score high and get a good rank. Cutoff marks are the least marks which a candidate must get in order to qualify NEET!.
