Hello Aspirant,
See 50% aggregate is not required in total for 5 subject but only for PCB combination. See eligibility criteria for NEET UG says that the General category candidate should secure at least an aggregate of 50% marks in his/her 10+2 and should have passed in English subject as well.
So if you follow the above criteria then there is no need to appear in improvement examination but if you do not satisfy the above criteria then you should appear for it and then on satisfying the above criteria you will be come eligible for NEET UG admissions.
I am also mentioning down the NEET UG eligibility criteria for your reference :-
** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.
** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.
** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.
** Now there is no any upper age limit to appear for NEET UG as per the latest decision of Hon'ble SC.
