if I get metallurgical engineer in NIT or dual degree 5yrs in Iiit kancheepuram, which one is good? under placements

I would personally prefer to go for a dual degree course from IIITDM kancheepuram as it will be providing both bachelor's and master's degree from one of the most reputable college in India.
More over since you haven't mentioned a particular NIT , but still it is better than most of the NIT's.
