if i get seat in IIT in first round and i want to participate in other rounds for a better option.can i accept seat and go for other rounds or should i cancel first round alloted seat and go for other round? if i don't accept seat in frst round and go for other round there is a risk?

Hi Candidate,

It's nice to hear that you are expecting to get an IIT Seat in the first round of counselling. So Hearty congratulations First!!

Now, if you get a seat in IIT and you are satisfied with it and donot want to go in further counselling rounds, then just choose Freeze option and you will lock your seat automatically. But if, you get a seat and want to go in further Rounds in hope of a better seat, then choose Slide/Float option which will give you the chance of getting another better seat, only if it is available.
