Yes, there's a chance that you will get a better rank. But there's no 'RULE' that you will definitely score good marks. For that, you need to study hard. You have to complete your 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Prepare from good study materials. Solve maths and physics numericals. You need to go through and solve each and every question in the 15years question paper to know the trend. You have to give your 100% to get a good rank. Complete your syllabus and keep atleast 2months time for revision.
If you are dropping a year, make it worth it.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
If you give JEE 2021 as a dropper you can definitely get good marks or Rank in JEE , it all depends upon the amount of hardwork and dedication you put in your drop year for the preparation of JEE examination.
Many students take a drop each year and prepare well and not only they crack JEE Mains examination but also crack JEE advanced and make it to IITs , you can do the same if you remain dedicated and honest towards your studies in your drop year.
Follow the below mentioned tips:-
- In your drop year try to complete the whole syllabus of JEE examination at least two or three months before the examination so that you can keep them for revision and practice of questions
- Make a routine or a time table and try to give at least 8 hours to studies and out of that 8 hours you need to devote at least 4 hours in solving numericals and mcqs
- Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the examination hall, so you should stress on revision as well.
- Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.
Thankyou
