If i give the jee mains exam of both jan. And april then how many attempts will be counted

Among both the paper of JEE Mains held in January and April among which you have scored well will be considered for the admission process i.e Counselling. As totally you have 3 attempts to write the JEE MAINS and 2 attempts for JEE Advance. If suppose you gave the paper in January as well in April in next year then it will be considered as the single attempt only.

If you give both Jan and April JEE main examination, they will count as 2 attempts. You can give a maximum of 3 attempts of JEE main.

See from year 2019 onwards CBSC have started JEE mains paper twice a year in the month of January as well in the month of April and among from which you scored good marks will be considered for the Counselling.

Hello Nikhil,
There is no such update regarding the attempts as of now. The notification will be released in the first week of September.
Going with the last year criteria, candidates will get 3 attempts to clear the JEE Mains. So as of now, you are eligible to apply for both JEE Mains January & April sessions in the upcoming year.
