If I go to my allotted college in neet round 1 n if I opt for upgradation then I don't have to pay academic fees at the same time???
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)

NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
After allotment of colleges in Round 1 of Counselling, you do have to pay the academic fees then and there and then if you are willing, you can select the Upgradation option.
In the next round, if you are upgraded to a higher preferred College, then the previously alloted college would refund your academic fees along with the documents submitted. Which you can use for the admission in new colleges.
However, there are chances that a minimum amount would be deducted during the refund, but that would be an absolute nominal one.
Hope this helps.
Best Wishes !
Hey, if you have got alloted one college.. Go to that college pay your fees and then apply for upgradation.. You will have to pay academic fees of that college and once you get upgraded some of the amount will be deducted and then rest of the money will be transferred to that respective college... Good luck.. Hope this helps..
