Dear Aspirant,
Your rank is independent of the marks of you have percentile. Percentile signifies from how many candidates you have performed well. So in general, if your percentile is 97, it means that you have scored well than 97Percent of the total candidates. So if there are 100 candidates in your exam your rank will be 3.
