Hello Umesh. We all know that now JEE Mains is conducted twice a year so you will get your rank after JEE Mains april will be over as the percentile chosen is always best of the two attempts, so guessing your exact rank is not possible. But we can get a rough idea of your rank using last year's data.
First let us try to calculate your percentile. The percentile you get will be calculated shiftwise. The formula used will be:
(No. of people having less than 140 marks in second shift/total number of students present in second shift)*100
So your percentile according to last year's data will vary from 98.14939961 to 97.75686494. Which will vary according to no. of students present and on the hardness of the paper.
Your rank will be calculated using the formula:
1+((100-P) * No. of total students appearing)/100)
Taking in consideration the previous year's data your rank will lie between 18378 - 57131.
