Hello Rajiv,
According to previous records, 440 is not at all sufficient to get a seat in govt. medical college that too for a general category student. In very few states, that score may give you an A-cat seat in private medical colleges so try in states like karnataka for admission. You can try for management quota seat or in Central or deemed universities for admission. You can also go for BDS (mostly in private colleges). But you have good chances to secure a BAMS/BHMS seat. Or you can go for Agbsc, pharmacy, and a lot more. If you are really passionate about medicine, you can take a drop and score better next time.
Choose wisely.
Wish you good luck for your future.
Cheese:)
Adding to this, keep in mind these all cutoffs are based on Previous year data and this year the cutoffs might change. So I would suggest you to use Neet College Predictor tool to know where you have good chances of getting admission http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
