dear candidate if you are belonging to general category there may be less chances for you to get a seat.
but incase if you are not a EBC then you gave good chances to get a seat in nit but you cannot make it into top most NITs

The admission into NIT's is completely based on cut off for qualifying . With a score of 80, I am not sure that you will get admitted into a NIT
