If I got seat allotment in some other city. Should I visit the college to know details about the college or can I get correct information from the internet also?
It's always good if you visit the college. But It's also impractical for me to advise that you get admission in 5 colleges and you visit all the 5 colleges and decide for yourself. Also, during the admission cycle, some universities and colleges dress themselves very very well.
So, If it is local university, you must visit that. If it is within the state, you should make an attempt to visit but if it is beyond the state, increasingly the data that you have is transparent enough. Lot of people are looking at the data and people like us are also scrutinizing the data. So from that perspective, increasingly, the data you have is visible and transparent and is available in many websites like ours. We also supply the data to google. So, if possible you should visit the college but if it is difficult then the data you have from sites like ours (Careers360) are good enough because we don't put a single piece of data which is not being authenticated by government authority. If this data is not a part of UGC disclosure or AICTE disclosure then that data doesn't find a place with us. So, at Careers360, you would not find any wrong data.

Hi,
the internet provides a good amount information about the college, infrastructure, placement, fee etc. The College reviews, and other information if taken through a genuine source on internet is quite useful.
But if you are thinking to take admission in a particular college than you should visit the college if possible. Because by personally looking at the college building, atmosphere and meeting the students already their, a very clear and handful information. So if possible you should visit the College.
Hope this helps.
