Hello Roshan, the state of engineering in Kerala is in a very bad condition, as there are many colleges cropping up everyday. This reduces the quality and value of an Enginering degree. Please Do not even mind the other answer, you have nothing to worry about. Even I was in the same situation as you last year, and I was very much worried whether I will be able to get a good college by KEAM. But even though I had scored less marks than you in KEAM and only 69% in class 12, I got into a very good Government-controlled Engineering college in Kerala :)



So, don't worry as you have many chances to get merit seats in a good college. You need to believe in yourself that you will get a good college. At least you got qualifying marks in KEAM, that's enough for private colleges.



Coming to your question, you'll get atleast 33,000 rank. So according to previous year trends, you'll get :

• College of Engineering, Attingal
• College of Engineering, Cherthala
• College of Engineering, Kottarakara
• College of Engineering, Muttathara
• College of Engineering, Munnar
• College of Engineering, Pathanapuram
• College of Engineering, Poonjar
• College of Engineering, Kallorpara

The above colleges have a high chance of admitting general category students in merit seats for CSE. All of them are also self financing. So, it's upto YOU to choose from these options.

Your marks are pretty good but your KEAM marks are too low to get you admitted into any college. And for CSE, it's impossible.



But don't get depressed, you can try for other private engineering exams like AMITYJEE, SUAT etc or if you have applied for JEE, then you should for the results to be declared. It might get you to some good college.
