Yes, you can pursue Master of Technology or MTech degree from Indian institute of technology or IIT after completing your MSc degree.
MSc graduates pursue MTech degree after completing their MSc degree for better future an enhanced career prospects in the field of engineering and technology.
If you wish to pursue MTech from Indian Institute of Technology then you have to qualify the GATE entrance examination.
Following is the eligibility criteria that all candidates must fulfill in order to be eligible for MTech after MSc -
• Candidates applying for an MTech course must have completed their graduation. So for pursuing MTech, Masters degree is must.
• Candidate must have completed the Masters degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
• Most of the colleges in India require applicants to have scored at least 45% - 50% aggregate marks in their graduate degree and have received a passing score in all of their graduation subjects.
