You need to qualify or pass in all the section to get qualified in KEAM. As a result of getting 8 marks in maths and 100 marks in maths and physics won't help you to get a chance in any college. as because due to this your rank will increase drastically.
So, in short, you need to work hard in all the subjects and you must try to get the passing marks in all the subjects

Here is the main eligibility criteria of KEAM
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together
As you have score 8 marks in maths am sorry to say but you are not qualified for KEAM
