Greetings Aspirant !

Backlogs are the most common reason why an MBBS student fails to crack PG in the very first attempt. The reasons being :

1. More the work piles up, the lesser you study. Eventually, with a single read, not much of the concepts are clear.

2. Once backlogs start piling up, it's difficult to gain back the initial will to study.

3. With greater backlog, it becomes difficult to recall vital examination points.

All these although won't be a hindrance in the counselling, but will surely pose as an obstacle during PG entrance examination because the syllabus stretches from as long as the 1st year anatomy.

Hence it is wisely suggested to minimize your backlogs as much as you can.

Hope this helps.

All the Best !
