The compulsion of PGCET depends on the coarse for which you want to apply in RV College of Engineering.
1- Eligibility criteria for M.Arch:

The candidate must appear in Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority

The candidates with valid GATE score are also eligible to apply.
- Foreign Nationals must obtain the equivalence of their qualifying degree from the Association of Indian Universities and also qualify for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
2- Eligibility criteria for MCA:

The candidates from General Category must have scored minimum 50% marks and candidates from SC/ST must have scored minimum 45% marks in the PGCET entrance examination for admission to RV College of Engineering, Bangalore.
3- Eligibility criteria for M.Tech:
-
The candidates from General Category must have scored minimum 50% marks and candidates from SC/ST must have scored minimum 45% marks in GATE/ PGCET entrance examinations for admission to RV College of Engineering, Bangalore.
- GATE scores are equivalently valid for admissioon in M.Tech coarse. No compulsion of PGCET.
