if i have not applied maths in 12th and i fill the cuet form in subject of maths to take the course of ba economics course in best universities so,my form is accepted or not in further process of CUET selection??/
Admission to a Bachelor of Arts in Economics program typically requires candidates to have studied Mathematics during their Class 12 education. This is because the curriculum often involves quantitative analysis and statistical methods that necessitate a solid foundation in Mathematics. For instance, the University of Delhi specifies that applicants must have studied Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in Class 12 to be eligible for its BA (Hons.) Economics program.
If you did not take Mathematics in Class 12 but choose to appear for the Mathematics section in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), your eligibility will still depend on the specific admission criteria of each university. Some institutions may strictly require Mathematics as part of your Class 12 coursework, regardless of your CUET performance. Therefore, it's crucial to review the eligibility requirements of the universities you're interested in to determine if they accept candidates without a Mathematics background.
Hi
To be eligible for CUET, students must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream.
Thanks.
