if I have scored less in class 10th can I get into iim through cat
Hello dear,
Hope you're good,
It doesn't matter how much you score in class 10, yes can give cat examination. The cat syllabus consists of the Data Interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR) Quantitative aptitude (QA) of the verbal capacity and the reading comprehension (VARC). It contains not just the mathematics but also logical English thinking, and some of the 12 themes are in the mathematical section. So you have to concentrate.
You need the right guidance for cat or an adequate institute to guide you.
I propose that you select the finest platform to prepare your cat by my personal experience. Because after coaching students miss 3 or 2 score.
Best Of Luck
I hope that I have answered your question and that this information will be useful to you in the future.
Assuming youre from General Category, with less Score in 10th, you still have fair chances in securing a seat in one of the IIMs, provided you have a Good Record in Graduation as well as a great Percentile in CAT as well as have a Great Interview/WAT Process once youre Shorlisted by one of the Institutes.
Dear Aspirant,
IIMs generally take final admission on the basis of some parameters and completes the admission process in 3 stages
Stage 1:
Based on CAT score , candidates are shortlisted for next stage.
Stage 2:
Those candidates who applies for GD/PI are called based on their CAT score and academic records .
Stage 3:
Final selection will be based on combined score of stage1+stage2 and the different parameters which are as follows:
- 10th percentage
- 12th percentage
- Graduation Percentage
- Academic Diversity
- Gender Diversity
- PI
- Work experience
So, if you have less marks in 10th , don't worry .. you can have chance then too for getting admission in IIMs as per the process .
