I hope you are doing fine, Yes you can. It's not that hard. Many students do switch from one branch to another. Computers are something that can be learnt by anyone if he develops a passion and dedication towards Programming languages. It is also true that you will get stuck at many points and will feel like you would have not opted this one but believe me that is the only time when your mind will start analyzing the codes once you start to solve problem by yourself. Also if you will face any problems you will be having Teachers and your at your college to help you out. So if you plan to switch at Computer Science can surely do that.

In general, colleges keep a separate batch for lateral entry students for every branch so that they can be better explained the topics required in that particular field. Not all the students enrolled for a program belong to the same branch during pursuing the diploma so it is important that they are for the basics of the common subjects. Alsoyou must note that choosing computer science does not mean that you will only learn subjects related to programming and coding but it will include many other subjects from different branches as well for overall development. However if you find the subjects for programming aur coding difficult you can choose a external method of studying them either from YouTube or many other professional learning platforms.
