Hey,
You have to prepare well for JEE Main as JEE Main syllabus is not same as that of Class XII syllabus.
After covering your class12 syllabus, you can opt for mock test series which will help you to understand your weak points and help you to get into the real groove of the JEE Main.
You can refer the link to know more about books apart from NCERT’s-
If your concepts are 100% clear and know your formulas well then you can get 40% of your JEE MAINS marks from class 12 i.e 72/180 [taking 50% weightage of each class 11 and 12] as 40% of the exam is easy level and focused on concepts and experiments.
The next 35% paper is easy-medium and for that too you just need to practice and understand JEE questions as they only use multiple concepts and nothing new. For this NCERT EXEMPLAR is very good.
The next 25% is medium-tough and requires much more thinking and speed to be done.
The rest 180 marks of yours depends on your class 11 topics and if you give a week sincerely to class 11 after boards, class 11 can increase your marks.
Start with physics[Class 11] and just do its first six chapters which ensures your 3-4 questions i.e 12-16 marks. Then move to the chemistry, it is very easy and again gives your atleast 20 marks if done just basics.
Then chapters of maths which you find easy.
After this DO REVISION instead of completing your course.
You have 2 weeks after boards give 1 week to class 11 and 1 week to revision.
If you are already done with class 12 course, start doing exemplar problems till the end of January and then revise everything completely to perform well in boards.
This way you can get easily around 130 marks or above.
BUT DO NOT FORGET TO REVISE. REVISION IS A MUST.
