If I pursue Mtech in Embedded systems, Is this eligible to become professor in electrical and electronics department?

Hi Aspirant,

That really depends on college to college but if you are having Mtech in Embedded systems  then you can become assistant professor in electrical and electronics department but to become professor in most renowned universities you need to have a degree in the respective fields.Competition are much higher these days and obviously the one having degree in Electronics and electrical will get selected first.
