Hi
Which board have you passed your biology from ,later on ? Is it an open board or the board from which you passed your 12th? I am guessing that you have done your biology later on from open boards like NIOS because regular boards, let's say CBSE does provide students the opportunity to have an additional subject later o and pass it but it is not applicable for subjects like biology which include practical, additional subject is offered for only for non -practical subjects.
You can check the same for cbse at
https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/pvtform/
Now,
Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible you must should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology and English as core subjects and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category or at least 45 % aggregate in PCB in case of PH candidate.
Also,
students with Biology as an additional /optional subject are provisionally eligible for Neet examination until the supreme court give its judgement over the eligibility of students with Biology as an additional subject.
But ,
it is unsure that you will be eligible by just passing your Biology later on after 12th from a different board i. e NIOS because as per eligibility criteria students who have passed their 12th board examination with biology as additional subject are eligible and additional subject is nothing but the 6th i. e the optional subject in your 12th board examination.

So, if you want to be eligible for Neet , I would suggest you to give NIOS on demand examination for 12th with all the 5 subjects including physics ,chemistry biology and English and for the 5th subject you can choose any subject of your choice like Hindi ,Sanskrit, maths or any other subject and after passing, if you fulfill the aforesaid percentage requirement in PCB i. e 50 % for general or at least 40 % for obc/sc/st or at least 45 % for ph then you will be eligible for neet and can get admission in MBBS on basis of marks obtained by you in the Neet examination .
Thank you
Dear Student,
