You must have secure 75% marks in 12 th boards ( for general and obc category ) or you must be in top 20 percentile.
And if you belong to ST/SC than you have to secure minimum 65% marks in 12 th boards.
Passing of 12 must be same year ; previous or previous from previous year.
But you can get admission in some of other colleges which have criteria of minimum 65% marks and consider JEE mains marks ( but have separate counseling).
And also you can get admission in some other private colleges.
And you can give some other entrance exam in which you are eligible on basis of 12 th percentage.
But first you should check criteria from which you may be eligible for JEE mains admission ( like caste or percentile).
So good luck
If you have less than 75% in class 12th & belong to General Category, You will not be eligible to apply for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. There are many private colleges accept JEE Main score, You can go Or if you are looking the top Government colleges then you can go for DTU, NSIT which require minimum 60% in class 12th, The admission is through JAC Delhi counselling on the basis of JEE Main score but make sure you should have a good score in JEE Main.
Any particular college you are targeting then let me know.
Good Luck!
