Hope you are doing well. Congratulations for getting seat in government college. I would suggest you to go with the goverment college as it has good reputation and will land you a good job if you work hard there as drop is not preferred because the chances of excelling next year are very low also it depends on the interest of the students and other factors so instead of taking a drop just go with what you have.
