But make sure that you register in the first round and attend the counselling which is mandatory.
A individual who registers and attends the counselling in first round can only move on to register for subsequent rounds.
So register for first one and then wait for the results. You can take free exit or can select the college and opt for upgradation.
But all this for further rounds can be done once you have registered for first round.
Hi Akansha,
As far as the guidelines and the rules of MCC is concerned, only two rounds of counselling will be organised for government medical colleges under 15% AIQ seats. And mop up round will be organised only for the deemed universities and ESIC colleges.
First round allotment is about to release on 27th June and then reporting will be from 28th June to 3rd July. Last date for registration is still left being 24th June and for choice filling and locking being 25th June.
Second round registration is from 6th to 8th July and result of allotment will be out on 12th July. Reporting is from 13th to 22nd July.
After two rounds all the seats of government medical college left vacant will be reverted back to respective state bodies to be included in state counselling.
Third or a mop up round of counselling will be organised for central/deemed universities. Registration and choice filling from 13th August to 15th August and then the allotment list will be declared on 18th August. Reporting is from 20th to 26th August.
As registration is done separately in every round which means you can directly register for any round of counselling you wish to attend and can see where you stand a chance for allotment.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
