If i take a drop for preparation of JEE and want to go for NIT,IIT and if my board results are below 75% , then I have to give improvement exam of all subjects for qualifying criteria of NITs,IITs and BITS or is it fine to give improvement exam for those subjects in which we score low?

If you are from CBSE board, its not mandatory to appear in all the 5 subjects for improvement exam. You can appear for 1 or more paper in which you have scored less.
The eligibility for BITS is that the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
For NITs and IITs you should have scored at least 75% marks in class 12, or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th class exam conducted by the respective board, to qualify for admissions. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks are 65% marks.
I hope this helps
