If I take BE in food technology am I eligible for GATE exam?

Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm. Students
Passed a Bachelor degree (4 years after 10+2 or 3-years after Diploma in Engineering/Technology) in Engineering/ Technology or currently in the final year of the degree.
Thus if you have successfully completed your 4 year BE orbitech program or are currently pursuing your final year in the degree then you are eligible for GATE exam.
There is no restriction for food technology students for participating in the GATE exam.

If you are having a degree of food technology from any College then you will be eligible to apply for GATE exam. GATE is only an exam which tests your technical skills and general skills. On the basis of that PSU recruit their employees.
If you want to get into any of the PSU then you must have a rank below 200 and to get top 10 PSU calls then you must have below 100 ranks. Anybody can give GATE exam
